The government presents a complete maritime strategy
The Danish minister of economy and business, Brian Mikkelsen, has on behalf of the government presented a complete maritime strategy, which concerns all activities in connection with the sea – shipping, ports, fishery, tourism, exploration etc.
The law on ports should be more port friendly
The Danish minister of transport, Hans Chr. Schmidt, is preparing a revision of the law on ports. The goal is to secure a number of ports being able to function as effective transport centers in the Danish infrastructure.

Security breaks at Maersk
Maersk Oil and Maersk FPSO are among 30 companies in the British part of the North Sea, which since 2006 has been informed of security breaks by the British Healths and Safety Executive (HSE).
Maersk clears the decks for action against delayed vessels
Maersk has set out to achieve that 95 percent of the containers arrive on time. Today only 70 percent do that, which means that there are 30 percent to go.
